Music festivals can be taxing, crowded and confusing, we wrote a post about it a while back. There has been a recent trend towards creating music festivals that cover a particular genre, thereby limiting the audience size. Old Settler's Folk Festival, FunFunFun Fest and Austin Psych Festival are all great examples of music festivals that draw a lot of fans, but not the 70,000 plus that cram into Zilker Park for Austin City Limits Festival due to the niche each festival serves.
