Live music preview: Local pianist Reuel to perform at Reagan Day Gala

A Reagan Day Gala event has been organized to honor Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott Tuesday at the AT&T Center on the University of Texas campus with pianist, Reuel Meditz performing for guests. Senatorial candidate, Ted Cruz and Justice Jeff Rose will offer tributes to AG Abbott who is a likely candidate in the next election for Governor of Texas. A VIP reception at 6p.m. will be followed by dinner at 7p.m.and a silent auction.

Live music preview: Classical piano stylist Reuel to perform at straw poll event

Sunday, classical piano stylist, Reuel Meditz is slated to perform at a straw poll event organized by the Travis County Republican Party in Lago Vista. The 23-year old Reuel plays an improvisational style that allows the performer to compose pieces while playing. The event will feature a candidate forum for the newly created 23rd Congressional District in addition to Reuel's unique piano music. The musician uses his improvisational skills to write film scores when his is not performing.
