March was an emotional month for the Austin music community. A drunk driver fled Austin Police and mowed down four people near The Mohawk during SXSW. A positive result of the SXSW crash was The Mohawk, SXSW and Austin Community Foundation quickly organized SXSW Cares to benefit individuals and families affected by the accident. After two weeks of ignoring your weekend preview needs, we are back from a brief hiatus to tell you about all the great local music you have the opportunity to witness this weekend in Austin. The Impossibles are back after ten years for two sold-out reunion shows, Yacht is in town tonight, Hard Proofwill be playing afrobeat at The Sahara, The Sour Notes are part of the Bummer in the Summer and Whitman is going to be at Beauty Bar Ballroom for free on Sunday.
